What you'll experience
Departure from Istanbul.* We'll begin our journey on a ferry. During the ride, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Bosphorus and the Princes' Islands
- Arrival on Büyükada. We'll take a leisurely stroll through the island's streets, admiring cozy restaurants and cafés. And we'll definitely stop for Turkish tea or coffee
- Path to the summit. If you wish, we'll take an electric car up to the Monastery of St. George Koudounas, located at the top of the hill. From there, you'll get an incredible view of the island, the sea, and Istanbul — a perfect spot for photos
- Greek Orthodox Orphanage — Prinkipo. You'll see one of the largest wooden buildings in the world, learn about its fate, and feel the atmosphere of the abandoned orphanage
- Taş Mektep School. As we wander through the island's streets, we'll explore historic buildings and discuss the architectural heritage of Büyükada
- Relax on the waterfront. To wrap up the tour, you'll enjoy the sea — a great chance to unwind after a full day
